There are several ways to improve the appearance of your acne scars at Lasermed, depending on their colour, texture, and size. Chemical peels help even out the skin tone, while the Mosaic fractional laser can help smooth the skin’s surface. The CO2 fractional laser is exceptional for laser skin resurfacing. The treatment is painful. So, to minimise discomfort we apply topical anaesthetic cream to the area an hour before treatment. In most cases only one treatment is needed, but for deep acne scarring two or more treatments may be necessary. The interval between treatments should be three months.
